Youth & Spanish Language Services Are Growing

Our Spanish Language constituency is increasing. Recent attendance at the 3PM worship service has gone over forty. Some individuals who had dropped out have returned and several new households have joined us. Our special thanks to the Spanish language leadership team led by Pastor Justin and to all who are reaching out to those in need of the fellowship of the church, especially those without our Savior.

The Youth Group also continues to grow. Last Wednesday (August 31) the attendance was nineteen. Moving from Tuesdays to Wednesday evenings appears to have helped some youth be free to come. Our thanks goes to Pastor Josh and the Youth Leadership Team.

Special Deliverance Service

On Sunday morning August 28 we had a very special service focusing on the power of God to deliver from addiction. Special guests were Rev. Jerry Cash and Brittany Bowman with representatives of the local chapter of Mothers Against Meth. It was a powerful and challenging service.

Jerry gave a powerful testimony of deliverance from alchohol; he was homeless for several years and now serves as a counselor and pastor in Alabama. He is a graduate of the Church of God Theological Seminary.

Brittany gave her testimony of deliverence from meth and how God led her to start the local chapter of Mothers Against Meth. To get more information on Mothers Against Meth see their web site www.mamasite.net You can click on the title to this post ("Special Deliverence Service") to go there.
